Invitations to Other Teams
Team leaders,
In the FIRST spirit of friendly coopetition, we encourage you to link to other FIRST teams you know (and ask them to link to you): ones in your alliances, ones you have competed against, ones in your region, and others you have met. You can link to FIRST RObotics teams and FIRST Tech Challenge teams. Doing so is a nice way to build bridges and help other students (and the inbound links will help your Search Engine Optimization).
You can see on this sample FIRST team page how another team will appear on your team's page (and how you will appear on theirs) in the near-right column below the big banners and ClassWish Facebook like box, right below the title Our Favorite Teams.
Here is an email you can send to other FIRST teams to invite their participation:
Hello
A nonprofit website, ClassWish.org, has built custom fundraising tools specifically for FIRST Robotics and FIRST Tech Challenge teams. It is quite feature-rich, as you can see on this sample team page. Here is a page describing its advantages over other fundraising platforms.
We are creating a fundraising page for our team and would like to link from it to the ClassWish pages of our favorite teams, such as yours (and we hope you will reciprocate, or course).
You can see on this sample FIRST team page how your team will appear on our team's page (and we would appear on yours) in the near-right column below the big banners and ClassWish Facebook like box, right below the title Our Favorite Teams.
If you have already created a fundraising page on ClassWish, just let us know the URL, and we will link to you. If you have not, you will see that it is quick and easy:
By the way, ClassWish also helps schools and teachers get all sorts of resources, so it is well worth sharing with them. Further, you can earn referral rewards for your team when you invite educators.
Thank you very much!
Best wishes,

If you have already created a fundraising page on ClassWish, just let us know the URL, and we will link to you. If you have not, you will see that it is quick and easy:
- Have your team leader who will create and manage the page visit and join ClassWish.org/FIRST
- They will then find their school, go to 'Teacher Needs,' and click the red button to create a wish list. It is all self-explanatory.
- Send me the URL of your team's ClassWish page so I can enter it into our team admin panel. That will cause you to appear on our team page.
- Again, I hope you will link to our page from yours. Our team ClassWish page URL is team leader - enter your URL here].
- Please share this opportunity with other teams so all students can get the resources they need.
By the way, ClassWish also helps schools and teachers get all sorts of resources, so it is well worth sharing with them. Further, you can earn referral rewards for your team when you invite educators.
